A brief intro about me :- I am a 30 year old guy from Mumbai, a big time Fitness Freak who loves spending most of the time in the gym coz of the atmosphere, music and moreover the weights!
I believe in living life at its best and to do that one should be focused and determined as well as mentally and physically fit.
To begin with am going to start with a Nutritious diet plan as all of u good people know the Key to a Healthy mind and body is to Eat right!
Just want to share a little knowledge of mine on what is good to eat and what not.
hope u like it..
so here u go!!
We assume that many foods fall in the healthy or even the dieting food category but are they really healthy? Do these actually help you cut down on calories or on the contrary load your body back with stuff you are looking to avoid? Only the label of these products can tell…
One rule remains: you have to be wary of such phony food, disguised as healthy and seemingly good for you, but secretly packing quite a calorie punch. There are plenty of suspects out there, ones that might seem like they should be obvious, and others that sneak past your lips without you even knowing it. Either way, they add a significant number of calories to your diet. Here are some of them that manage to successfully fool most of us:
Low Cal or Sugar Free Cookies -
Low calories cookies or Sugar-free cookies as they are called, are without the bad ingredient- that is fat and sugar- so we gorge on them carelessly. However, it's not uncommon for fat-free or even sugar-free cookies to have nearly the same amount of calories as its regular counterpart, only taste- wise these are much inferior. So, check the label of these cookies pack for the true story on calories and fat intake. Why suffer on taste if the calorie and fat intake is the same?
Salads -
The raw cucumber, carrot, tomato mix is great but when added with deadly salad dressings with a liberal pinch of cheese, mayonnaise, cream, sugar, meats, artificial syrups, sweetened juices and so on, the salad hardly remains healthy anymore. If you do want your salad to be healthy and yet have a dressing, go for curd based dressings made peppy with salt, pepper and some garlic flavor.
Soups -
We frequently think of soups as appetizers that are healthy and low on calories but this may not hold true always. Certain soups can be packed with calories and fat, especially ones that are milk or cream based. If you want a diet soup, stick to broths.
Coffee -
Coffee is a must for many of us for kick starting our day. And of course by itself, coffee is very much calorie free. But with all the add-ons that we often tend to dress our coffee with, leaves it no longer free of calories. So if you like coffee on a daily basis, keep it simple and devoid of any frills like vanilla ice cream, cream, chocolate syrup, maple syrup and so on.
well that's all for today folks! will get back to u soon on more tips n trades..take care till then good people n stay fit
